Virginia Beach, VA (January 24, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision near Haygood Rd and Twain Ln in Virginia Beach on January 21, where minor injuries were reported at the scene.
The accident involved a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and a black Hyundai Elantra near the Haygood Shopping Center, not far from South Independence Blvd. Dispatch audio confirmed that occupants of the Hyundai requested medical evaluation following the incident. Rescue units assessed the individuals involved, and care was administered on-site.
Police and fire units worked to manage traffic and ensure safety while medical teams evaluated those requesting assistance. No serious injuries or vehicle fires were reported, and there is no word yet on whether transport to a hospital was required.
Authorities have not released a formal statement regarding the cause of the accident. An investigation is ongoing to determine what led to the collision in the busy shopping corridor.
