Aiken County, SC (July 12, 2026) – A 70-year-old Warrenville woman lost her life following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Augusta Road and Old Aiken Road on July 9.
According to available information, the two-car accident happened at approximately 2:46 p.m. A 2025 Kia Forte traveling north struck the rear of a 2024 Chrysler Pacifica. Lorraine Crawford was riding as a passenger in the Kia when the vehicles made contact.
Crawford was taken to Wellstar MCG for treatment, where she died the following morning. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Aiken County Coroner’s Office are continuing to examine what led to the collision.
