West Burke, VT (May 17, 2026) – Two men were hurt following a motorcycle crash in West Burke on Saturday, May 16. The accident happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. along Route 5A.
Investigators said Anthony Gibson, 22, of Montpelier, was riding a motorcycle when he crossed the center line and struck an oncoming car. Gibson and the 70-year-old driver of the car both suffered injuries in the collision.
Emergency units responded to the scene and took both men to nearby hospitals for treatment. Officials said both are expected to recover from their injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and more details will be released as soon as they become available.
