West Grove, IA (March 16, 2026) – One person died following a head-on crash Sunday night, March 15, on Highway 2 in Davis County.
Emergency units responded around 9:30 p.m. to the area of Highway 2 near Ice Avenue in West Grove after reports of a serious collision. Authorities said a vehicle traveling east on the highway crashed into another car moving west.
Both drivers and a passenger were taken to a nearby hospital after the crash. Officials later confirmed that one of the victims died from their injuries.
