Wichita, KS (January 14, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident with injuries was reported on East 37th St North, prompting a response from multiple emergency units in the area.
The crash occurred shortly before 5 a.m. and involved a black Jeep Wrangler and a newer-model gray Nissan. According to dispatch reports, at least one individual involved in the collision complained of shoulder pain. Responding units from Engine 37 and Squad 37 confirmed both vehicles were disabled as a result of the impact.
Paramedics arrived on scene to assess the injured party, who was later reported to be in “code green” condition, indicating non-life-threatening injuries. Both drivers were reportedly out of their vehicles by the time first responders arrived.
Traffic in the area was affected as crews worked to evaluate the scene and clear the roadway. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
