Westside Township, MN (August 24, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 90 in Nobles County left a 42-year-old woman injured on Saturday night, August 22. The incident was reported around 8:23 p.m. at mile marker 26.
According to the crash report, a GMC Terrain and Ford F-250 were both traveling eastbound when they collided. The GMC driver, Kelly Jo Cowell of Fairmont, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sanford Worthington Medical Center.
The GMC passenger, 48-year-old Joshua Bruce Cowell, was not injured. The Ford driver, 40-year-old Cassandra Holly Pettis of Augusta, Wisconsin, also reported no injuries.
