De Soto, MO (August 27, 2026) – A 67-year-old Hillsboro woman died after a motorcycle wreck Sunday afternoon on northbound Missouri Rte 21 in Jefferson County.
The wreck happened around 2:25 p.m. south of Yellow Rock Rd. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 28-year-old man from Black was following a Can-Am Spyder trike too closely and struck it from behind.
The force of the collision ejected the woman from the motorcycle. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
The investigation into the fatal accident remains underway. Our condolences are with the woman’s family and loved ones.
