Frequently Asked Questions
Where do most traffic accidents happen?
Many serious crashes occur at intersections and on rural roads where speeds are higher and emergency response takes longer to arrive, though crashes can happen anywhere conditions turn risky, such as a curve, embankment, or poorly lit stretch of road.
What injuries are most common in car accidents?
Head, neck, and chest injuries are common, along with broken bones and internal injuries, especially in crashes involving a rollover or a vehicle leaving the roadway. Some injuries aren't obvious right away, so medical evaluation afterward is important even if someone feels fine at the scene.
What to Do After a Car Accident in Woodlawn, VA
If you or someone you know is involved in a crash in Woodlawn, get checked out by a medical provider even if injuries seem minor at first.
