Pedestrian collisions can result in serious injuries, particularly for children and teenagers. Drivers are urged to remain vigilant in residential areas, near schools, and on streets with frequent pedestrian activity.
Pedestrians and parents are encouraged to teach children proper street-crossing techniques, including using crosswalks, looking both ways, and remaining attentive to traffic. Quick emergency response and immediate medical care are critical in reducing the impact of injuries following pedestrian-related crashes.
