Woonsocket, RI (April 5, 2026) – A two-car crash with reported injuries occurred at the intersection of Mendon Road and Cumberland Hill Road.
The accident happened around 10:40 a.m. on Friday, April 3. Reports indicate that one driver was traveling the wrong way on Mendon Rd when the collision took place. Emergency units responded to the scene and found at least two people complaining of pain.
Two people were taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Officials also confirmed that one male driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. No additional details about the victims have been released.
