What Is Reviewed After a Vehicle Strikes a Person Near a Roadway?
Crashes involving a person working near a roadway require investigators to examine vehicle movement, roadway layout, and visibility conditions. Officials may review where the vehicle was traveling, how the person was positioned, and whether any roadway factors affected the incident.
Investigators typically document physical evidence, vehicle damage, and the area surrounding the crash. They may also consider driver actions, traffic conditions, and witness accounts to better understand the sequence of events.
