Sunrise, FL (September 6, 2026) – One person died, and two others were injured following a two-car collision early on Saturday morning, September 5, in Sunrise.
The crash occurred at about 1:53 a.m. near 500 N University Dr. Emergency units took the three people involved to a hospital for treatment.
One occupant later died after arriving at the hospital. The identities of those involved have not been released.
Investigators are still working to determine what led to the accident. We offer our heartfelt condolences to the loved ones mourning the person who lost their life.
