Delaware Township, PA (July 27, 2026) – A 50-year-old Montgomery man lost his life after a motorcycle was struck by an SUV at the intersection of Routes 44 and 405 in Delaware Township, Northumberland County, on Saturday, July 25.
According to state police, the fatal collision happened at about 1:23 p.m. Adam Erdly was riding a 2009 Harley-Davidson through the intersection when it was hit by a 2024 Mazda CX-30 driven by 47-year-old Arman Shirazi of Nanticoke.
Erdly died from the injuries he received in the crash. Shirazi was reported to have a suspected minor injury.
The cause of the wreck remains under review as investigators continue to gather information.
