Las Vegas, NV (June 28, 2026) – One person was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on Friday night in the east Las Vegas valley.
The pedestrian was hit at about 8:41 p.m. near the intersection of Nellis Boulevard and Stewart Avenue. Emergency units arrived, and the person was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The roadway remained heavily affected following the collision, with all eastbound and westbound lanes of Stewart Avenue closed, according to the Regional Transportation Commission. The identities of those involved had not been released at the time of publication.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision, and additional information may be released as the review progresses.
