Fresno, CA (July 23, 2026) — One person was killed, and another suffered major injuries in a collision involving a sedan and a tractor on Manning Avenue near Yuba Avenue on Wednesday, July 22.
The crash occurred around 8 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Investigators said a tractor was traveling west along the shoulder of Manning Avenue when a small sedan, also headed west, struck the back of it.
The sedan overturned several times, crossed to the opposite side of the roadway, and caught fire. The sedan’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities had not released that person’s identity.
The tractor driver was taken to a hospital with major injuries. The full circumstances of the collision remain under investigation.
