Northridge, CA (July 11, 2026) – One man was killed, and two other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning at the intersection of Reseda Blvd and Lassen St in Northridge.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to reports of the collision at approximately 7:53 a.m. The Los Angeles Fire Department initially reported one possible fatality and confirmed that two people had been transported to a local hospital.
By late Wednesday morning, the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that a man had died at the scene. The identities of the deceased and the two injured individuals have not been released, and officials have not disclosed the conditions of those taken to the hospital.
Authorities have not announced what caused the collision. Officials remained at the scene examining the wreckage, including a heavily damaged SUV, as they worked to determine the circumstances leading up to the fatal crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
