Granite Bay, CA (July 11, 2026) – A collision involving a bicycle and an SUV was reported on Saturday morning on Auburn Folsom Road near King Road in Granite Bay.
The collision was reported at approximately 10:49 a.m. Initial dispatch information indicated a burgundy Subaru Outback and a bicycle were involved, but reports stated there was no need for vehicle towing following the collision.
By 11:03 a.m., all southbound lanes were reported blocked while emergency units worked on the roadway. The extent of injuries was not immediately confirmed, and the cyclist’s identity, along with that of the Subaru driver, had not been released.
