Fremont, CA (July 11, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision was reported on Saturday morning on southbound Interstate 680 just north of the Andrade Road off-ramp in Fremont.
The collision was reported at approximately 10:15 a.m. and involved a silver Lexus IS250 and a dark blue Toyota Corolla. Both vehicles came to rest in the No. 2 lane, temporarily blocking traffic through the area.
Tow services were requested for both vehicles, indicating each sustained damage requiring removal from the freeway. Emergency units arrived shortly afterward to manage the roadway and coordinate vehicle recovery.
The extent of the injuries was not confirmed in the initial dispatch information, and the identities of those involved were not released; however, the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
