Glasgow, MN (September 7, 2026) – A collision involving a Ram ProMaster and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle occurred on Saturday afternoon, September 5, on Hwy 60 in Glasgow, Wabasha County. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the crash happened around 4:04 p.m. near mile marker 214.
The Ram was traveling eastbound on Hwy 60, while the Harley was heading westbound, when the vehicles collided. The motorcycle driver, 69-year-old Donald Monroe Battey of Pine Island, died in the wreck.
The Ram driver, 57-year-old Delila N. Gingerich of Zumbro Falls, was not injured. Two passengers, a 14-year-old of Goodhue and 67-year-old Barbara Jean Whipple Fullem of Oronoco, also escaped injury. The circumstances leading to the fatal collision remain under investigation as officials work to establish what occurred.
