Lancaster County, PA (August 27, 2026) – One person died on Tuesday, August 25, after being thrown from a motorcycle in an accident in Providence Township, according to police.
The accident happened around 4:48 p.m. on Main St at Cinder Rd. Authorities said a motorcycle traveling straight was struck by a Ford truck that was turning left.
The motorcyclist was taken to Lancaster General Hospital, where the person later died from the injuries suffered in the collision. Police did not release the victim’s name or other identifying details. The investigation into what led to the wreck remains underway, with additional details expected as the review continues.
