Long Neck, DE (August 27, 2026) – Three people were injured in a rollover crash on Tuesday evening, August 25, near Long Neck Road and Pot Nets Road in the Long Neck area of Sussex County. The incident was reported at approximately 7:18 p.m.
According to the alert, the vehicle left Long Neck Road and entered the Creekside development. Initial reports mentioned possible entrapment, but an update indicated that no one was trapped.
Three patients were evaluated by EMS. One patient was transported by medical helicopter to AI Dupont, while two additional ambulances transported patients from the scene. At least one person was reported to have serious injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
