What Investigators Review in Multi-Vehicle Freeway Fires
When crashes involve multiple vehicles and post-impact fires, investigators typically examine vehicle positions, impact points, and fire origin patterns. These details help determine how the collision developed and how the fire started.
Freeway incidents also require analysis of traffic flow, speed conditions, and lane changes leading up to the crash. Because multiple vehicles may be involved, reconstruction efforts often take additional time. Emergency response records and roadway evidence are used together to establish a clear sequence of events in complex freeway collisions.
