Lauderdale Lakes, FL (June 21, 2026) – Two men were hurt following a fiery two-vehicle collision early on Friday morning, June 19, at the intersection of US-441 and NW 26th St in Lauderdale Lakes.
According to reports, emergency units were called to the intersection at about 5 a.m. after a Lexus and a pickup truck collided. One of the vehicles caught fire, and crews worked to extinguish the flames while assisting the people involved. Both drivers sustained traumatic injuries and were taken to Broward Health Medical Center for treatment.
Images from the roadway showed a heavily charred Lexus covered with fire suppressant material. The pickup truck also sustained severe damage, with its front section separated from the bed and crumpled on the pavement. The identities of the two men have not been released, although the police are still working to determine what factors led to the collision.
