Boone County, WV (September 2, 2026) – One person was killed on Monday, August 31, in a two-vehicle crash involving a UTV and a passenger vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 119 South and Prichard Road in Boone County.
According to the West Virginia Department of Transportation, the victim was driving the UTV and attempting to cross U.S. 119 South when the collision occurred. The crash was reported before 3 p.m.
WVDOT officials and law enforcement were investigating the incident. Traffic at the intersection has since returned to normal.
