Pomona, CA (July 2, 2026) – Two vehicles were involved in a traffic collision on Wednesday afternoon, July 1, on the eastbound I-10 just west of Fairplex Drive in Pomona. Initial police reports indicated the wreck involved a Chevrolet Volt and a black SUV.
An OnStar representative advised dispatchers that they had made contact with a person inside the Chevrolet Volt, who reported injuries following the collision. Emergency units were assigned shortly after the report was received at around 2:27 p.m. The identities of those involved and the extent of their injuries had not been released at the time of publication.
The cause of the crash remains under review as more information becomes available.
