Jefferson County, MO (August 27, 2026) – A 71-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man were injured on Wednesday morning, August 26, after two vehicles collided on northbound Missouri 141 at Schneider Drive in Jefferson County.
The wreck occurred at about 10:31 a.m. A 2017 Subaru Forester was traveling northbound on Missouri 141 south of Schneider Drive, as a 2017 Ford Fusion was stopped for a steady red signal while traveling westbound on Schneider Drive.
According to the report, the signal changed, but the Subaru driver failed to stop and struck the Ford. Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the location.
The Ford driver, a 66-year-old Hillsboro man, and his 65-year-old female passenger were taken to Mercy Hospital South with minor injuries.
The investigation into what led to the accident is still underway.
