Modesto, CA (July 28, 2026) – A two-vehicle traffic accident was reported on July 26 at the intersection of SR-219 and Stoddard Road near Modesto. Initial dispatch information indicated that two vehicles were involved, including a white pickup truck and a black Subaru SUV.
The call came in around 3:00 p.m. Emergency units arrived and later confirmed that the collision had grown to involve three vehicles. Tow trucks were requested for two of the damaged vehicles, indicating that they could not be driven from the roadway. At least two people were reported hurt, although the extent of their injuries has not been released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation as more information becomes available.
