San Diego, CA (June 25, 2026) – Two vehicles were involved in a traffic collision on westbound State Route 54 near Briarwood Road in San Diego.
According to dispatch reports, the crash was reported at approximately 3:12 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24. Initial information indicated that two sedans collided in the westbound lanes of SR-54. One vehicle was described as a black sedan, while the other was a silver sedan. Additional updates identified the vehicles as a gray Honda sedan and a silver Toyota sedan.
The collision blocked the No. 1 lane and later affected the fast lane. Reports also noted heavy traffic damage to the vehicles. Emergency units were dispatched to the roadway, and at least two people were reported injured. The extent of their injuries was not immediately released.
