Hemet, CA (July 8, 2026) – Two SUVs were involved in a traffic collision on July 7 at the intersection of Yale St and Stetson Ave in Hemet, leaving two people hurt.
The collision was reported around 2:30 a.m. after automatic iPhone crash notifications alerted dispatchers. Initial reports indicated that two silver Honda SUVs came together in the roadway, with both vehicles blocking traffic lanes for a time. Emergency units arrived to assist those involved and coordinate traffic around the intersection.
Two people were taken to Riverside University Health System with minor injuries. Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged SUVs, and additional assistance was called to the roadway while crews worked to clear the vehicles. The identities of those involved have not been released, and no further details about what led to the collision were immediately available.
