Adelanto, CA (July 22, 2026) – A head-on collision involving a semi-truck and a Scion was reported on Monday evening, July 20, on southbound US-395 just south of Trenton Road in Adelanto, leaving at least one person hurt.
According to initial dispatch information, the crash was reported at about 6:00 p.m. Callers stated that a teal Scion had been traveling at high speed before colliding head-on with an empty semi-truck. The collision blocked at least one southbound lane, and witnesses reported that injuries were involved.
Shortly after the collision, callers reported that one of the vehicles might be on fire. Emergency units were sent to the roadway, and a tow truck was requested for an SUV blocking the southbound lanes. Additional details about the people involved and the extent of their injuries had not been released at the time of publication.
