How Motorcycle Crashes Can Lead to Severe Injuries
Motorcycle crashes can result in serious injuries because riders have less protection than people inside passenger vehicles. The direction of impact, vehicle speed, roadway conditions, and the actions of drivers involved can all affect the outcome of a collision.
Intersections can be challenging areas for motorcyclists and other drivers because vehicles may be turning, crossing paths, or changing direction. Investigators may review traffic patterns, vehicle movements, and other evidence to better understand how the crash occurred.
