Tempe, AZ (July 22, 2026) – Police are investigating a serious motorcycle crash that left a rider with life-threatening injuries Monday afternoon at Southern Avenue and Mill Avenue in Tempe. The collision was reported around 4 p.m. on July 20, after a motorcycle was struck by a car.
According to Tempe police, the motorcycle was traveling eastbound when it was hit by a car making a left turn. The rider was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Southern Avenue was closed between Mill Avenue and College Avenue while investigators worked at the scene.
No estimated reopening time was available. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and more details will be released as soon as they become available.
