Los Angeles, CA (August 4, 2026) – A two-vehicle traffic collision involving a rollover disrupted eastbound traffic on I-10 near the South Grand Avenue collector on-ramp on August 2.
According to CHP dispatch records, the crash was reported at about 1:06 p.m. Initial information indicated that three vehicles were involved and that the right lanes were blocked. Updated reports later stated that a gray Honda overturned onto its roof after colliding with another vehicle, while a gray vehicle also struck the center divider. Good Samaritans attempted to help those inside the overturned vehicle before emergency units arrived.
The California Highway Patrol logs showed that half of the roadway remained open for a period while crews worked on-site. Later updates confirmed that three lanes were closed while towing operations continued, causing heavy traffic delays throughout the corridor.
The cause of the collision is still being examined, and additional information is expected as it becomes available.
