Fresno, CA (September 10, 2026) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday, September 8, on northbound State Route 99 near the Ashlan Avenue off-ramp in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol reported that a white Ford Explorer and a blue van crossed multiple lanes after the collision, with one vehicle going through a Jersey barrier and off the freeway. One vehicle came to rest on its roof, while another went off the right side of the roadway and through a fence.
Emergency medical services were requested, and two people were transported for medical treatment. CHP later classified the incident as a minor-injury crash. The collision also damaged a green exit sign and a fence, and multiple tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles.
