Greene County, IN (August 31, 2026) – At least two people were killed and a road construction worker was believed to be seriously injured in a crash Saturday afternoon, August 29, on southbound I-69 in Greene County.
The crash occurred near mile marker 93, approximately nine miles south of the Scotland area. State Police believe two vehicles were involved, and the collision prompted the closure of southbound I-69 in the area for several hours.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Additional information about the identities of those killed and the condition of the injured construction worker was not immediately available.
