Schaumburg, IL (June 22, 2026) – Two people lost their lives following a motorcycle collision involving a Nissan Rogue on Saturday afternoon, June 20, in Schaumburg.
The wreck happened at about 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Golf Road and Commons Drive. According to information released by the village, the motorcycle and the sport utility vehicle were involved in the crash.
The motorcyclist and a passenger riding on the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger traveling in the Nissan was hurt and taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Following the collision, Golf Road between Plum Grove Road and Commons Drive was shut down in both directions while crews worked in the area. Drivers were urged to use alternate routes and avoid the roadway.
The identities of those involved had not been publicly released at the time of this report. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances that led to the crash.
