Wichita, KS (August 12, 2026) – Three people were taken to Wichita hospitals after a two-vehicle collision late on Tuesday, August 11, on I-135 near S. Hydraulic St.
A 2018 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling south on I-135 when it left the roadway to the right and struck the rear left corner of an unoccupied 2008 Toyota Sienna parked legally on the right shoulder. The Toyota was pushed into the west ditch and overturned.
The Chevrolet continued south before coming to rest about 100 yards south of the Toyota in the west ditch. All three people inside the Chevrolet were taken to Wichita hospitals. McKenzie T. Moore, 21, of Wichita, suffered serious injuries. Precious A. Parks, 21, of Junction City, was taken to a hospital with suspected minor injuries.
The investigation into what led to the wreck remains ongoing.
