Buffalo Twp., PA (June 22, 2026) – Three people were taken to a hospital late Sunday, June 21, after a fiery accident on South Pike Road in Buffalo Township. The report came in at 11:21 p.m. near 613 South Pike Road, with later information placing the wreck near 509 South Pike Road.
Initial dispatch information said at least one vehicle was on fire and people were still inside. Emergency units arrived and later confirmed that all patients were out of the vehicles by 11:28 p.m. Two vehicles were reported on the roadway. Route 356 was shut down while crews worked along South Pike Road near Bear Creek.
By 11:38 p.m., responders indicated that two patients would be taken to a trauma center and one additional patient would also be taken for care. All three were brought to Allegheny General Hospital, according to the report. The cause remains under review as more details are gathered.
