What Is Commonly Reviewed After a Rollover Collision?
Rollover collisions usually involve a close review of vehicle movement before the rollover, roadway conditions, and the points of contact between vehicles. Investigators may also examine tyre marks, debris patterns, and the final positions of the vehicles.
Vehicle stability, speed, and occupant restraint use are additional factors that may be evaluated. Damage to the vehicles and statements from those involved can also help establish the sequence of events. These findings provide a better picture of how the rollover occurred and why one vehicle overturned during the roadway encounter.
