Cape Girardeau, MO (August 19, 2026) – Three people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Benton Street and William Street in Cape Girardeau on Monday morning, August 17, around 11 a.m. All three injured people were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Several lanes of William St were temporarily blocked while emergency crews worked at the scene. The roadway has since reopened, with all lanes back open to traffic. No additional details about the circumstances of the crash were immediately available.
