Martin Co., TX (July 3, 2026) – Three Stanton residents died on Thursday evening, July 2, after a head-on crash on the Interstate 20 North Service Road in Martin County.
Texas DPS said the crash happened along the I-20 North Service Road near mile marker 153. The crash involved a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Debra Ramirez and another vehicle driven by 56-year-old Justin Milulka.
According to DPS, Milulka was traveling westbound on the North Service Road when he failed to yield the right of way to Ramirez, who was also traveling westbound. The vehicles collided head-on as Ramirez was attempting to enter the on-ramp to I-20.
Ramirez and a 16-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the site. A 14-year-old rear passenger was taken to Martin County Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Milulka and a passenger, 29-year-old Michelle Sanders, were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Another passenger in Milulka’s vehicle was taken to Midland Memorial with minor injuries. The Martin County crash remains under investigation.
