Kansas City, MO (January 7, 2026) – A man sustained injuries early Wednesday following a rollover crash near Holmes St in Kansas City. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after 2:30 a.m., where they located an overturned vehicle with a disoriented driver trapped inside.
According to dispatch audio, Kansas City Police officers helped extract the unrestrained male driver—believed to be in his early 40s—from between the front seats of the wrecked vehicle. He had suffered a visible head laceration and was described as restless and confused. Medics applied a wrap to control the bleeding and stabilized the man with a cervical collar before transporting him to Truman Medical Center.
The patient remained conscious with a Glasgow Coma Score of 14 and exhibited signs of sinus tachycardia. Officers accompanied the ambulance during transport. No other vehicles were reported involved, and the cause of the rollover remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with the injured man and his loved ones. We wish him strength and a full recovery following this serious accident.
