Callaway Co, MO (January 7, 2026) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday morning at the intersection of Highway B and Highway N in Callaway County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The collision happened around 6:55 a.m. when a 2017 Lincoln MKC, driven by a 64-year-old woman from Auxvasse, pulled into the path of a westbound 2014 Chevrolet Impala. The second vehicle, driven by a 52-year-old man from Montgomery City, struck the Lincoln, resulting in a significant impact that left both vehicles totaled.
First responders from Audrain County EMS arrived quickly and transported both drivers to University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Reports confirm that both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The Lincoln was towed by Becky’s Towing, while the Chevrolet was removed by Economy Towing. The investigation into the incident is being led by Cpl. G.A. Beaulieu, with assistance from local authorities.
