Greenville, SC (January 7, 2026) – A deadly crash occurred early Wednesday morning in Greenville County when a pickup truck collided with a tractor-trailer on White Horse Road. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office confirmed the crash happened at approximately 6:15 a.m. near 1139 White Horse Rd.

According to officials, a tractor-trailer, identified as a Sherwin-Williams vehicle, was backing into a parking lot when it was struck on the side by a pickup truck. The impact caused severe damage, and the driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased as they work to notify next of kin. The crash remains under investigation by local authorities, who are reviewing evidence from the scene and nearby surveillance to determine what led to the fatal collision.
