Fort Worth, TX (January 9, 2026) – A 33-year-old man was flown to a local hospital on Thursday afternoon following a serious rollover crash on S Main St in Fort Worth. The incident, which may have been triggered by a medical episode, left the vehicle overturned and the driver with multiple injuries.
The crash occurred around 3:44 p.m. near the 7600 block of S Main St. According to dispatch audio, the vehicle left the roadway and landed upside down after the driver possibly suffered a seizure. The severity of the impact prompted the request for an emergency airlift.
CareFlite medical personnel responded swiftly, airlifting the injured man from the scene. He reportedly sustained injuries to his femur, collarbone, and wrist, but was described as stable during transport. Firefighters and EMS crews assisted in stabilizing the vehicle and ensuring safe access for the medical helicopter.
The Fort Worth Police Department is continuing to investigate the crash, including whether a medical condition was the primary cause. No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported.
