Chesapeake, VA (January 9, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision sent three people to the hospital with injuries on Monday afternoon in Chesapeake. The crash occurred around 3:28 p.m. on January 5 at the intersection of Highway 17 and George Washington Hwy S, according to the Chesapeake Police Department.
One vehicle involved in the crash had a single male occupant, while the second carried a male and a female passenger. All three individuals sustained injuries described as non-life-threatening and were treated by medical personnel at the scene before being transported for further care.
Traffic in the area was temporarily slowed as authorities managed the crash response, but all roadways have since been reopened.
The cause of the collision has not been released, and police are continuing their investigation.
