Fayetteville, NC (January 10, 2026) – Emergency crews responded Friday evening to a motor vehicle accident on Owen Dr in Fayetteville that left two people injured and requiring hospital care. The incident was reported around 6:58 p.m., with both patients transported to Cape Fear Hospital under trauma yellow designation.
According to EMS communications, a 58-year-old woman sustained abdominal bruising and a right wrist injury. She was reported conscious and stable during transport, with a blood pressure of 160/100 and heart rate of 101.
A second patient, a 48-year-old man, was also involved in the crash. He sustained abdominal bruising but remained ambulatory at the scene. His vital signs were stable, and both individuals had reportedly been wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
Rescue teams arrived quickly, provided medical evaluation, and transported both patients with emergency traffic to the hospital. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
