Pompano Beach, FL (January 10, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a crash with injuries reported on January 8 near the intersection of University Dr and Royal Palm Blvd in Pompano Beach. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes and involved at least one rear-end impact.
According to dispatch audio, a caller reported being rear-ended and complained of neck pain following the collision. The vehicle was later confirmed to be near Northwest 3rd Ave, where emergency responders arrived to provide assistance.
The injured individual was evaluated at the scene by medics, though the severity of the injuries and whether hospital transport was necessary has not yet been released. Traffic in the area was affected temporarily while crews managed the scene along the right side of the southbound lanes.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and have not yet disclosed how many vehicles were involved.
