Shreveport, LA (January 12, 2026) – A crash involving an electric bicycle resulted in injuries near the intersection of E Kings Hwy and Shreveport Barksdale Hwy on January 11. The incident occurred around 9:07 p.m. and prompted a response from Engine 11 and Medic 5 after reports that two individuals were injured.
According to dispatch information, the crash occurred when the e-bike struck a curb, throwing at least one rider into the roadway. A female patient was found lying on the ground at the scene, while a male rider was also reportedly hurt. Medics immediately began evaluating both individuals and provided care on-site for their injuries.
Traffic in the area may have been temporarily impacted as emergency crews worked in the roadway to assist the injured and secure the scene. No vehicles were reported to be involved in the crash beyond the e-bike.
