Barren County, KY (January 12, 2026) – Emergency crews were dispatched to a reported injury accident along the 7600 block of Glasgow Rd on January 11, where an 18-year-old female was found with a suspected leg or ankle fracture.
Units from Barren River EMS and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to assist the injured individual and investigate the circumstances of the crash. Officials have not confirmed how many vehicles were involved, but initial reports indicated that the victim may have been seriously hurt.
Paramedics provided treatment on scene, and further evaluation was expected to determine the extent of the injury. The young woman’s condition was not immediately released. Glasgow Rd was partially impacted during the response, though traffic in the area remained manageable.
Authorities have not shared any additional information regarding the cause of the accident. An investigation is underway to determine the events leading up to the incident.
