Homestead, FL (January 14, 2026) – A serious crash early Wednesday caused injuries and a roadblock at a major intersection in the Homestead area, prompting a swift emergency response and traffic disruption during the morning commute.
The incident took place around 7:27 a.m. at the intersection of SW 152nd Ave and SW 312th St. Fire crews and paramedics from Miami-Dade responded quickly, assisting multiple individuals at the scene who had suffered a range of injuries due to the collision.
Authorities confirmed that a roadblock was established as the crash left the intersection partially obstructed, requiring traffic to be redirected while emergency crews provided aid and cleared the roadway. One or more individuals were transported for further medical attention following initial treatment on-site.
At this time, the number of vehicles involved has not been released. Investigators remained at the scene throughout the morning gathering details to determine the cause of the crash.
